Art and Science of Innovation and Improvement (ASII)

ASII is currently under redevelopment and expressions of interest will open April 1, 2017.

Building and enhancing our capacity for quality improvement (QI) is a foundational goal of the Primary Care Network (PCN) Evolution that aligns directly with key elements of the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH). Specific QI capacity enables the opportunity to achieve efficient and effective outcomes for patients while also addressing provincial wait times and key issues (reporting for the Office of the Auditor General for Chronic Disease Management and PCNs). Building knowledge, skills and attributes in individuals to become strong improvement facilitators is a valuable approach to achieving these goals.

Participants in ASII quickly learn the foundational principle that improving our learning and applying approaches to improve learning is the key to healthcare QI.
